Relatives of a young boy who suffered life-threatening harm after being thrown from the top floor of the Tate Modern have announced their "courageous fighter" has achieved his goal of succeeding to swim, run, and jump once more.

This European boy was six when he was thrown from a railing by a adolescent, then 17.

The boy, who was vacationing with his parents in August 2019 when targeted, survived a 98-foot fall but received life-changing injuries, such as a bleed on the brain and fractures.

His family said in an progress report on a crowdfunding site, they were delighted that he had been able to progress with his swimming, running and jumping before his forthcoming procedure.

"He can't accomplish like kids at his age, of course, but we can no longer describe what he does in another manner than by saying it's jumping, swimming, and running."

After a legal proceeding at the Old Bailey, the teenager was convicted of attempted murder and was incarcerated in the year 2020 for at least 15 years.
